Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge?

I charge £150 an hour for my personal lessons, but I offer other, highly trained Oxbridge graduates at cheaper rates. Everything that’s included in my lessons will be included in theirs as well. Enquire for more details!

What’s included?

As well as the contact time, I regularly set and mark homework targeted to the students ability and can advise on all aspects of academic life such as unit choices and University applications. I will also give all private students free access to my revision app, AITutor.

Why should I choose you over an older tutor?

It’s true, I’m only 27 years old and finished my Masters Degree just a few years ago. But I see this as an advantage. It was only a few years ago that I was taking my A-Level and GCSE exams myself and because of this I can relate to students and really understand how they learn, while developing an informal friendship. My students always feel confident asking for my advice!

Do you have client testimonials or references I could speak to?

Of course! As well as the testimonials you will find on my Google Business Page and the homepage, I have a range of ex students and parents that are happy to speak honestly about their experiences with having me as a tutor. They’re happy to be emailed or called – just ask me for their contact details!

What is your experience tutoring?

I tutored part-time for 3 years at University and I am now a full-time tutor, so while I am still young I have committed a great deal of time to perfecting the way I give lessons and track student progress.

Can you travel to my home?

Due to my timetable I cannot travel to tutees’ homes. I run lessons out of my home in Manchester or online.

I do not live close to you. Can I still get lessons?

Absolutely! In fact, only a small minority of my students are in my city. Learn how here.

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation made with 24 hours notice or less will be charged the full price of the lesson.

Do you offer a free trial lesson?

No. I am happy to do a trial lesson with no commitment to continue with lessons, but it will be paid.
